#MicroblogMondays – Obligatory Christmas Happenings Post

#microblogmondays

It’s that time again!! WOW! What a crazy four days! (I had Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day off as well as the weekend) We spent most of it in the car and saw most of our family. It was wonderful. We did a lot of sentimental gifts this year and it was such an awesome feeling. Seeing everyone tear up at the thoughtful gifts we made. Family life is SO good right now.

An acquaintance of mine announced her pregnancy Christmas Eve. I knew she had been having issues and had been Pinning things about IVF. I messaged her to nib a bit and congratulate her and found out she was pregnant after one round of IVF (after many other failed treatments). It was nice chatting with her and it’s nice that those things don’t take a toll on me the way they used to. I also found out that she had used my recommendation to use our doctor. That made me very happy. He’s such an awesome man and I’m so thankful for him and his staff. I actually miss him and can’t wait for our appointment on the 18th. It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen him and I’m anxious to hear his input on donor eggs.

I hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas! We are spending our New Year’s with my best friend, her husband, and daughter going to a nice restaurant downtown and hitting the sack early since my hubby has to work the next day. I wouldn’t have it any other way really. 🙂

  1. Thank you! And no snow here, it has just been raining like mad for days here. We are having such odd weather. It's starting to get colder so I'm sure we're in for a very cold and snowy January. 🙂

  2. Yea I've been able to handle most announcements the past few years. This one just made me more anxious for our appointment. I'm ready to get “back in the saddle/stirrups” and if it doesn't work then just move on with life without ya know…
